5.0 out of 5 stars  It worked great for me, but I used it correctly
By Shawn O on January 15, 2016
I'm using Tink's again after not using scents (other than scent killing products) for a number of years. I know that it does work because the last time I used it I killed a very nice 3 year old 10 point that came in directly to it, while another buck, also a 10 point, was coming up the same trail behind him as well.

People should take note and give themselves a reality check regarding scents and attractants. The Tink's worked on that buck because I set up where I knew the buck was coming into the area already, not because it drew him in from 1/4 mile away or something ridiculous like that. I was also scent free, in a very well concealed stand, didn't wiggle around any, and was very careful coming to my stand not to cross the trail I suspected he would travel in on or to leave any scent anywhere on the way in. I killed him the very first time I sat in that stand. Both of those bucks had been seen together all season, and it took me a few weeks to get to the point at which everything came together that evening.

When you use a scent product (or any other hunting product, for that matter), you should take all of those kinds of things into consideration. At least 80%, but likely 95% of the success of the hunt depends on the tiny details that the hunter did or did not do correctly. The scent product merely brings the deer you have hunted correctly into position for the shot. If the deer walks on by or is afraid of the scent, then it is the fault of the product.
