  • Loud/Raspy
  • Made of soft flexible rubber for volume control
  • Creates the Meow of bobcats as well as rabbit and fawn distress calls
Product Description:
Randy Anderson says that this is the best bobcat call he has ever used. This call creates the meow of a bobcat, as well as rabbit and fawn distress calls. Cat Nip is a bite and blow style call. You control the tone and pitch by varying the pressure of your bite and regulating the amount of air you blow into the call. Pinching down on the end of the barrel also changes the tone of the call. Cat Nip is very versatile and can be used to call in coyotes, foxes and bobcats.

This call is said to be one of the easiest to use. It's not quite as easy to master as some of the other calls I've used, including some open reed designs. The sound isn't quite as realistic as others either in my opinion. It doesn't take much cold to make the call freeze up either. I tried it in high 30 degree weather and it failed to perform. It'll get the job done in a pinch, but I'll more than likely leave it at home.
