Product Description:

Our unique blade design provides you with two separate cutting edges. The first set of edges, also known as the wing blades, are used for cutting the hide and the first set of ribs. These blades are also used to open the broadhead, and are much smaller than the main blades. They take the most punishment by cutting through the hair, dirt, hide, and bones during entry. The smaller blades take less energy to penetrate through the first side than an "open on impact" broadhead. These wing blades also provide a load bearing surface for the ferrule during impact. The second set of edges, or the main blades do not touch anything during the initial penetration. They still have "virgin" edges when they open in the body cavity. This allows the main blades to remain razor sharp for the internal organs. Tech Specs: Blade thickness .031" Stainless Steel, 1 inch wide closed, 2 inches wide open, Length of head from insert to tip 2.00", Ferrule Dia at insert .325", Ferrule 2024-T4 Aluminum, Tip Hardened Steel hollow ground (threaded on), Screw 4-40 x .250 Grade 8 steel

ok BEST broad head ever especially for the price ..dosnt open prematurely in flight, can walk with it if it hits some brush dosnt open.. and huge holes great blood trails.. worked for me and my son on elk and deer last year flawlessly....
with the other popular brand i had open in flight issues and open in quiver or hitting bush while walking very annoying.. they came out with their new system and its better but so expensive

Good but not for me.

The blades to not see to be hardened. Typical for Swhackers. I typically don't like mechanicals because they deploy when in my quiver. I thought this would be better. It is a little better but still deploys in the quiver at times.

Great Value

They fly exactly like my field points so I will hunt with them. I do not like the rubber band, and highly recommend taking a lighter to it to really shrink it down. Have shot only one deer, a Large doe, quartering away at 43yds. She crashed hard within 50yds. I hit the off shoulder so no pass through, only a small entry wound, and a blood trail that was at times hard to follow, but that's more on me and shot placement. Overall very satisfied. Great value.

Excellent blood trails

I have killed quite a few deer with these heads. I have lost only one due to shot placement. Deer was found but the neighbors took it and wouldn't give it back. Excellent blood trails. If you're looking for pass throughs and shoot a fairly quick bow ( at least 300 fps) these are the best option. I have never had one fail.
