The paracord is definitely too thin, meaning it doesn't hold its shape when you take your remove your left hand, like with a thicker paracord wrist sling. The metal grommet in the leather gets crushed with relative ease, so it doesn't work very well if you really want to tighten down a quick disconnect.

This wrist sling works good. My only complaint is the braided rope is slightly abrasive. I would prefer something a bit smoother. However, I am not a hard core bow hunter so for the price, this product works ok for my needs.
